The Senior Choir provides music for the worship services, including introits, anthems, responses, and musical benedictions. At times, choir members, members of the congregation, and the youth of the congregation provide special music during the offertories and preludes, including solos, duets, both vocal and instrumental. We are a musical church! If you like to sing, please consider sharing your gift by joining us. You are welcome to sit in for rehearsal just to see what’s it’s like.
Regular Choir rehearsals are Sunday mornings 9:15-10:00 (September through June). In the summer, various musical members of the church and invited guests provide music for the worship service. Do you have music to share? Call the church office (585-624-2160) and you will be directed to a member of the Worship Team who would love to hear from you!
Everyone is welcome to join the choir provided they have some basic ability to read music. Michelle LaVarnway will direct the choir as she is able. On those Sundays when Michelle is unavailable to direct, Laura Mueller has graciously offered to direct the choir.
